I've had the privilege of working with students of all ages, helping them overcome various challenges and transitions. My background includes teaching, certified school counseling, and counseling college students and young adults.

My career has taken me on a journey through classrooms and counseling sessions. I've supported students struggling in the classroom, navigating friendships, identifying their emotions, and adapting to circumstances beyond their control. Additionally, I've worked with college students and young adults dealing with issues such as college life adjustments, depression, anxiety, self-esteem, relationship concerns, and identity development.

I have a deep passion for working with both student populations and individuals facing these and similar challenges. My primary goal is to cultivate a trusting relationship and a safe environment where you can freely express your emotions, confront your struggles, and navigate life's complexities.

In addition to my work at Wild Blue Counseling, I also provide counseling services to students at West Texas A&M University. Outside of my professional life, I live on a farm in Claude with my husband, two wonderful children, and our Pitbull, Rylee, who is just as spoiled as the kids. My son is six and my daughter is five; they keep me grounded and on my toes. We work hard but we play hard as well. The whole family participates in drag racing, which takes up most of our weekends — but we love it! It has given us the opportunity to travel to many different places. Aside from racing and family time, I enjoy getting to travel, reading, and working out.

TRAINING & EDUCATION

I hold a master's degree in counseling from West Texas A&M University and am a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate in the state of Texas (License # 91092) under the supervision of Rebecca Warren, MA, LPC-S. Furthermore, I hold a school counseling license, further broadening my expertise and allowing me to provide comprehensive support to individuals across various life stages.
