Jeff Striley, MC

Licensed professional counselor ASSOCIATE

Counseling isn’t just about getting through hard times—it’s about building a life where you can truly thrive.

I work with individuals navigating a range of emotional, relational, and behavioral challenges, with a focus on fostering insight, emotional regulation, and meaningful change. I am passionate about helping clients identify their strengths, increase self-awareness, and develop healthier patterns that support healing and fulfillment.

Additionally my experience has involved supporting couples across the lifespan—including those in heterosexual, same-sex, and nontraditional partnerships. My approach to couples work is cohesive, strength-focused, and grounded in improving communication, emotional safety, and mutual understanding.

My therapeutic style is collaborative, trauma-informed, and grounded in evidence-based practices. I prioritize creating a safe and supportive environment where clients feel respected, understood, and empowered to explore their experiences without judgement. My work is shaped by core values of empathy, authenticity, and cultural responsiveness.

Amarillo has been my home for my entire life. While I enjoy exploring new places, it’s always a welcome return to the community, family, and friends that keep me grounded.

Outside of therapy, I’m an active and curious person. I enjoy time with family and friends, BBQ grilling, mixed martial arts, hiking, carpentry, fitness, traveling, reading, and all kinds of music.

I hold a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Liberty University and am a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate in the state of Texas (License #97844), practicing under the supervision of Dr. Bryan Moffitt, LPC-S. I am also a National Certified Counselor (NCC #1736124).

My clinical training emphasized a strengths-based, client-centered approach, and I integrate modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), solution-focused brief therapy, and trauma-informed care. I hold additional certifications as a Clinical Trauma Professional (CTP #518890) and ADHD Clinical Services Provider (#102014). I have also completed Level 1 training in Solution-Focused Brief Therapy and am certified as a Master Life Coach through Transformation Academy.
